Who are we?

Valley Retina Institute, PA was founded in 1995 by Dr. Victor H. Gonzalez.

When he came to the Rio Grande Valley he envisioned an ophthalmology clinic where highly trained physicians were using state of the art equipment to provide the finest retinal and vitreal care.

Valley Retina Institute is at the forefront of retinal research and has the honor of being involved in many nationwide studies. Our physicians have also set standards for adult and infant retinal care in the Valley.
